About us
Our story
Established in 2008, HUMAC Ltd. has been manufacturing specialty humic acids based products for a wide spectrum of application intended to revitalize the food chain and environment. As a registered feed producer (SK 100 900), we mainly achieve our objective by focusing our efforts on the production of 100% natural feed materials made from Leonardite with a high content of humic acids. Our range of products have proven efficacy and ease of use; they can be used as a component in the production of compound feeds or directly mixed with all types of feed to achieve the proven results. In addition to feed materials, we have also developed veterinary grade formulas made purely from Leonardite. Equally, our product range for soil & plants and the environment consists of only one product simply because it has proven effective for all types of soils and crops. Our approach from day one has been to keep things simple and effective.
Scientifically proven products made differently
The company’s product portfolio has evolved over the past 14 years on the basis of scientific and experimental research conducted by the company and state research institutes and universities located predominantly in the Visegrad countries – Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland. We have developed our own unique purely mechanical manufacturing process of humic acids based products from one of the richest sources of Leonardite. We do not use NaOH or KOH nor any other chemicals throughout the entire manufacturing process as is the conventional norm in the preparation of humic acids products. Instead, we have developed our own so-called activation process of the raw material which not only preserves the natural molecular structure of humic acids as nature has intended but in a highly reactive form when applied.
We oversee and control the entire production process ensuring the highest quality of our products in the form of feed materials, natural veterinary formulas and feed detoxification agents for animal husbandry as well as companion animals to soil conditioners for crop production, gardening and environment.
All our dry products for animals are GMP+ certified. All our products are also certified for use in organic animal husbandry and crop production. Additonally, since 2020, all our products are Kosher certified.

For animal husbandry
Feed material made from Leonardite with high content of activated humic acids. A 100% natural product with high biological and physiological activity plays a key role in the maintenance of good productive health of your livestock.
For calves and other animals using liquid feed
Liquid feed material made from Leonardite with high content of humic acids with high efficacy, supplementing the animal organism with important minerals and trace elements in chelated form, readily available for uptake by the animals organism.
Its application is recommended especially for calves by adding it into milk or water. However, the formula can be used with other animal species using liquid feed.

Analytical constituents: Ca: 1200 mg / l; Mg: 55 mg / l; Fe: 260 mg / l; Cu: 1.70 mg / l; Mn: 1.97 mg / l; Se: 0.077 mg / l; V: 4.85 mg / l; Zn: 2.65 mg / l; Mo: 0.295 mg / l; Na: 10050 mg / l and all naturally occurring trace elements in μg / kg in the carboxymethylcellulose complex of organic matter.

What is it?
HUMAC ® Natur AFM MycotoxiSorb is a 100% natural feed material made from activated Leonardite with high content of humic acids (+65%) intended for the detoxification of compound feeds from mycotoxins, bacterial toxins, heavy metals, other organic toxins such as dioxins, PCBs and others that commonly enter the organism through feed. HUMAC ® Natur AFM MycotoxiSorb is non-digestible therefore toxins bound to its structure are removed from the body via feces. The active substance formula, humic acids, derives from a special mechanical activation of Leonardite – a natural substance of plant origin with high biological activity. Humic acids function as an organic detoxification agent with high affinity to heavy metals and other toxins. The product is mechanically processed via our own dual activation procedure for the purpose of improving its efficacy.
Agriculture, gardening and the environment
What is it?
HUMAC® Agro is a natural soil conditioner with high content of humic acids obtained from activated Leonardite, a 100% active natural substance. The product is applied to soil or substrates during fertilization to enhance various chemical, physical, and biological processes which in turn improve soil fertility and soil properties. Humic acids are the primary energy source for biological processes and have properties of physiologically active substances regulating plant growth and development. No chemical additives were used during the manufacturing process. product is certified for use in organic agriculture. As of 2020, the product is Kosher certified for producing Kosher approved crops.
Its application is recommended especially for calves by adding it into milk or water. However, the formula can be used with other animal species using liquid feed.
Improved hygiene and reduced emissions
Natural litter with humic acids (min.45%) for stable bedding with disinfection and adsorption properties for improved stable conditions.
We recommend applying HUMAC® Welfare into the stable bedding at a rate of 250g / m2 or 25 kg / 100m2 once per week or based on specific stable conditions. It is also possible to apply it directly into liquid manure at a rate of 20 – 40 kg / 1000 litres.
HUMAC® Natur AFM liquid applicators are highly effective for rapid relief of various gastro-intestinal disorders or acute poisoning. It is based on our HUMAC Natur AFM formulain liquid form provided in an easy to apply applicator.
What does it do?
– Supports the immune system, prevents metabolic disorders, reduces the occurrence of inflammation, reduces the occurrence of allergic reactions
– Provides intensive detoxification, binds microbial, fungal toxins and other toxins during acute poisoning
– Effective in the prevention and treatment of diarrhea
– Optimizes digestion, stabilizes pH in the digestive tract, positively influences the activity of intestinal microflora, stimulates the production and activity of enzymes in the pancreas and intestines
A natural veterinary formula for horses and foals
Veterinary formula made from Leonardite with high content of activated humic acids for both prophylactic and therapeutic applications. The formula is dual activated and microbiologically controlled for high purity.
HUMAC® Natur veterinary formula is a 100% natural substance, a brown-black powder with high biological and pharmacological effectiveness. It is produced by activating the mineraloid Leonardite without additives, for horses with high purity. It is added in specified amounts to compound feeds of foals and horses. The formula does not leave any residues within the body, there is no withholding period.
Liquid formula for bees
Our liquid formula to improve bees conditions for overwintering and better vitality at the start of the foraging season.
Improves and supports immunity for added protection against challenges faced by bee populations in many parts of the world.
While this is a new product with similar traits to Natur AFM Liquid, initial feedback from beekeepers has been very positive from its ability to support immune health against ticks and other threats to noticeably improved vitality at the onset of a new pollinating season.
Liquid formula for horses and ponies
Easily mixed with milk, water or other liquid feed formulas at a rate of 5ml per 10 litres of water for a period of 10 – 15 days. For ponies, 3 ml is recommended per 10 litres of water.
