Confit de Provence was founded over 40 years ago near Aix-en-Provence by Dominique Lepoutre, who aimed to promote the region’s fine products—starting with honey and almonds, then fruits. In 1989, he launched the first low sugar jam range using 100% fruit-based recipes, creating the “Confiturelle.” Passionate about healthy food, he embraced organic farming and, in 1994, earned the first organic certification for a jam maker. These milestones made Confit de Provence a true pioneer.
