About us
Royal Fassin is specialised in the production of extruded fruit gum and liquorice products. Modern techniques, dedicated people and the highest quality standards make it happen. We’re truly passionate about what we do. This passion goes back to 1910, the year that Joseph Langenberg and Xaver Fassin founded our company. The journey they started sparked a never-ending treat.
Our values
Royal Fassin is a proud value driven family business since 1910. Through the decades several milestones crossed our path, evolving us into the true specialist in extruded fruit gum and liquorice products.
In 2010 the ‘royal’ signature was awarded to us on behalf of the Queen of the Netherlands. To us, this is more than a title. It represents a strong sense of long-term vision, confidence, reliability, social responsibility and engagement. Royalty will therefore always resonate in our values.
Manufacturing
As a production specialist in extruded confectionery, we primarily produce for respected international distributors and retailers. We also cooperate with (food) producers who outsource the production of sweets and confectionery to us. Benefiting from our extrusion know-how and production lines.

Extrusion specialist
We were the first manufacturer to use continuous extrusion technology to produce confectionery. It all started in 1975. We transformed extrusion confectionery technology from knowledge of the plastic industry. We self-developed a production line that’s continuously improved through the decades. This innovative has given us a unique position as a specialist player in the confectionery market.
In 2004 we put extrusion technology to the test. We had fun with a challenge from the Guinness book of records: we made the longest belt ever, measuring 2004 meters (that’s more than 22 football pitches!).
Private label
We produce private label products and retailer brands for small to large scale retailers. Supermarkets are specific examples of customers with whom we co-develop extruded confectionery to stand out on the shelves with good rates of sale.

Shaping your recipe is a shared challenge we look forward to. This shared challenge can be summed up as co-development: the backbone in the relationships with our clients.
Quality management
Quality and safety are non-negotiable in the food industry. We don’t have to convince you — as an industry companion — of that given fact. It goes without saying that we extensively “shield” our production areas and guarantee the highest quality and safety standards. But instead of telling, we’d rather show you.
