CitroGlobe, based in Sicily, is specialized in the production and trade of fruit juices and purees (both NFC and Concentrates), fruit by-products and essential oils.
Our range of fruits includes citrus, prickly pear, apple, kiwi, grape, peach, apricot, strawberry and many other natural ingredients for juices, ice creams, jams, fruit preparations, bakery and dairy products.

CitroGlobe accurately select day after day the raw materials for our fruit derivatives in order to propose only the best to our clients. See below where our products origin and of course we are always able to guarantee the traceability and quality documentation for all the items, for a safe product and in accordance with the most restrictive rules for food and beverages.

Sicily

Most of our raw materials are 100% made in Sicily. The citruses, prickly pears and pomegranates are cultivated, picked and processed in Sicily and they represent our core business.

Italy

Some of the fruits used in our products are cultivated and processed in Calabria like the bergamot and clementines. Other fruits come from other part of Italy. As an example apples from Trentino, kiwi from Verona area, peach and apricot from Emilia Romagna, Campania, Puglia and Basilicata and grape juices from Puglia.

World

Thanks to the cooperation with selected worldwide co-packers we can offer several fruit based product that are not available in Italy or products with characteristics (acidity, brix, color, etc.) different from typical Italian products. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.

Quality is our prerogative

Since April 2016 we have become members of the international organization SGF INTERNATIONAL E.V. and obtained approval as IRMA (International Raw Material Assurance) suppliers.

In October 2022 the company obtained the certification IFS Broker (Version 3.1, 2021) with the Higher Level evaluation.

CitroGlobe is also a SEDEX member. Sedex is a secure online database and supply chain management tool that can help companies identify, manage and mitigate ethical risks in the global supply chain.

Our products

The freshness of freshly squeezed juice

The NFC Juices represent the highest quality juice in our range. NFC means Not From Concentrate and so this juice is what you simply obtain from the mechanical fruits squeezing without anything added. The juice then is refined and gently pasteurized (or not-pasteurized if required by the client) and finally filled in drum or other available packaging. This quality absolutely keeps the freshness and organoleptic characteristic of the fruit till the end customer. The Unpasteurized NFC Juice is perfectly suitable for the innovative pasteurization methods, like the HPP (High Pressure Processing) and for cold-pressed juices.

Produced without added sugar and with the best raw materials

Our fruit purees are available as NFC or Concentrates, and are studied to fulfill the needs of our partners to realize prime quality beverage and food products. We exclusively use the best raw materials to achieve the best results in terms of taste, color and flavor. They are suitable for beverages (juice, drinks and smoothies), dairy (fruit preparations, yoghurts, sorbets, ice-cream), confectionery and sauces.

Convenience and quality

In the juice concentrates some part of the water is removed by evaporation system to facilitate the transport and reduce the costs. Our fruit juice concentrates are standardized by brix and pulp but most of them can be customized to fit every final application. We use the best technologies to minimize the effect of evaporation on the quality, taste and texture of the juice. In this section you can find also several solutions (orange and lemon concentrates) for nectars and soft drink production or ready to use citrus compounds where you just have to add water to obtain the final beverage (different juice content % available).

Ingredients the food, cosmetics and perfumery industry

We supply a wide range of citrus essential oils obtained by cold pressed extraction. There are two extraction methods: “In-line” and “Pelatrice” that assure the best quality oil according to type of citrus and/or working period. The essential oils can be winterized according to customers’ requirement and then stored at controlled temperature in UN certified drums lacquered inside for essential oil transportation. Folded oils, distilled oil-phase and water phase from all citruses finally complete the range. The essential oils can be used as natural aroma in beverages or food or can find many applications in, frangrance, cosmetics and pharmaceutical Industry.

Ideal ingredients for confectionery, compotes, jams and other applications

The “by-products” are those that derive from the main processing of citrus for the extraction of juice and essential oil and represent important raw materials for many finished products. The pulp and cells are the most sought after by-products that CitroGlobe can provide in “unwashed” and frozen quality; we also have the possibility to provide them in aseptic packaging but only according to specific agreements during the citrus campaign. Interesting uses have, finally, frozen peel or IQF and special preparations for citrus jams.
